1st Step: Creating a Permission Mask (optional)

Go to your Admin CP -> Forum Control -> Permission Masks.

Go down to where it says Create a new permission mask. Enter in the name of the permission mask you want it to be named, and then select your (default admin) permission mask from the drop-down menu. If you don't select your permission mask then they will have different settings then you have, unless you edit it. After you select it, click on Create. Now that you have that permission mask set up it's on to Step 2.

2nd Step: Creating the group

Go to your Admin CP -> Users and Groups - Manage User Groups.

Go down to where it says Add a new member group. Select the default Admin group(or the group you are in) and click Set up New Group. Name the group whatever you like and change the settings or whatever. Select the new permission mask(if you made one) and click Add Group. Now you have a seperate group for other Admins. This is good because you will be the only ROOT Admin. Now go on to step 3.

3rd Step: Adding that Admin

Go to your Admin CP - Users and Groups - Find/Edit/Suspend User.

Search for the username however you like. Once it finds the username you want to be admin, you can click on Edit Details next to the persons name. At the new screen go to Member Group and select the Admin group you just set up. After you are done click on Edit this Member.
Have a nice day, Sarah.
