Go to Admin CP > HTML Templates > Manage HTML > Global HTML Elements > Board Header. Then, find:

HTML Code:

<div id='logostrip'>

Change that to

HTML Code:

<div>

(so you're just removing the id='logostrip' so it just says <div>
